Documentary for CNN: The impact of colonization on African tattooing

I was commissioned by As Equals - CNN to Produce, Shoot and Edit this documentary. I was also responsible for the creative direction of the film. This project is part of As Equal, a CNN series about gender inequality issues, in collaboration with CNN Style. In terms of the creative, we combined beauty shots that capture the elegance and beauty of our protagonists, with observational moments to create an inviting, immersive environment that draws the audience in. This film got 370K views on Instagram in just 24 hours.
