"We turn love into delicious baked sweets without animal cruelty"

A home based vegan bakery that gets its inspiration from indigenous tribes in Brazil.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The client is from São Paulo, and she sells all types of baked sweets, coxinhas, easter eggs, using no animal based ingredients. She needed a visual identity to match the name, which means somewhat like 'Lady Paunchy'. First she wanted an illustration to represent an indigenous old woman with a protuberant belly. But after some other studies she settled for the words only, but with the detail of the feather that was drawn on the lady's hair.
PROJECT BRIEF

She asked for a logo with a full visual identity, packaging and business card. I decided to add in a cool pattern inspired on the indigenous lines that compose the tattoos of these tribes. Brazil has more than 896.000 people that consider themselves indigenous. Thats 0,47% of the whole country. So the brand pays tribute to these tribes, and donates part of it's income to a selected tribe in São Paulo.
