Dr Roman's: Kombucha to Con-bucha: A move away from honesty

Dr Roman's is not another health-boasting kombucha. After researching other kombucha brands I found there was a tendency to push it as a health-boosting tonic and whilst it is agreed that there could be potential benefits, there's also very little scientific evidence to back up some of the more extravagant claims. With this in mind, I decided to flip the medicinal trend on its head and poke fun at it with a series of bombastic health claims, realised through a fun combination of wacky illustrations, custom typography and a tone of-voice inspired by old Snake-Oil ads and the game BioShock. The focus is instead shifted to flavour through minimal colour use and the gentle tagline at the bottom "Questionable Claims, Assured Flavour"
