Dragonfly is a Holding Company based in Singapore which makes investments in businesses relating to Education in South-East Asia. They were looking for a beautiful corporate identity which represented their particularly close ties to Vietnam. In Vietnam, the dragonfly is very symbolic of childhood innocence and fun, and the team wanted to bring in not only a dragonfly brand mark, but also play on the importance of celadon pottery in Vietnamese culture. We went through a process of exploration of different logos to find the right balance between modern and elegant, and finished in a place where the logo has a clear Asian influence, while remaining both feminine and corporate. We created a suite of collateral items for the company, from business cards to headed paper and email signatures.
