Durham Lumiere 2019

During my time as a Production Trainee for Artichoke I worked on the Durham Lumiere festival. From shadowing the producers and production coordinator I gained valuable experience within large scale events/festivals. I contributed to some artworks which were displayed throughout the festival, assisted the producers with certain logistics of the festival and liaised with artists. During meetings throughout the position, I spoke with the fundraising and communication teams of the company, as well as the CEO. This provided me with a further understanding of the importance of all sectors of a festival/compny, and how vital it is to keep connected.
