ECHOES OF KERBEROS A man gets a mysterious phone call threatening the life of his girlfriend unless he does what he is told. Echoes of Kerberos is a psychological thriller—but with a twist—because the thriller is taking place entirely inside the psyche of someone with multiple personality disorder. The writer of Echoes of Kerberos, Steve Brock, knew someone afflicted with this condition, and upon seeing the film, she stated that the film was the most accurate portrayal of what it is like to live with this condition. The challenge in the music was to create the stomach-churning angst of living inside the afflicted character, Robert Miller, while simultaneously acknowledging the various alters (alternate personalities) who inhabit Robert Miller's world. If you listen very carefully toward the end, you might even hear a bit of a French flavor (accordion) because Miller and his alters expressed wanting to visit Paris ("Paris is lovely this time of year!"). The film currently has 64 wins and 13 nominations listed in the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).
