Editorial for @nwavemagazine

As film is the subject I study at university, as a photographer it seeps into my work. I have found that my instinct a lot of the time right now, even when I dress myself in the morning is 'what kind of character would wear this?’ With this shoot, I already had my eye on this chair, which is a beautiful object in itself, but I wanted to bring some sort of human narrative to it. To me, Ynez (pictured) looks like the protagonist of some fantastical film throughout these images. This reflects the way in which film and the world of cinema in itself is nurturing the way I process the photos I take and it has been important for me to consciously begin to apply that.
