As part of my course in editorial design, I created a visual culture magazine about the use of industrial spaces in the neighbourhood I used to live in - Amsterdam Noord. Amsterdam Noord is a former industrial area with many old buildings and ship wharfs that over the years, have been repurposed into art spaces. This magazine explores and captures the most famous artworks found in the area. I was overseeing every aspect of the magazine's creation, from directing its content to conducting interviews with artists and industry professionals. While most of the visuals were captured through my lens, I also incorporated a few captivating historical images sourced from the Amsterdam City Archive. This combination of fresh perspectives and rich heritage brings a unique flavor to my publication.
