EL CARITE DANCE ( Acrylic on acetat and blue paper)

EL CARITE is a traditional dance that take part in the beautiful island of Margarita, Venezuela. This ritual want to pay tribute to the fisherman and their experiences in the sea. In this way, the person put a fish body costume is his head and start to dance in company of another person who is dreess up with a raft put it in the middle of his body. Like this, the tradition ends in a big celebration between the people who como together around the sea.
