In August of 2014 I met with the young educators behind East London’s
Music Academy as they were in the final stages of moving into their temporary campus. With only 6 weeks until opening day, they were anxious to see their space turn into an inspiring environment for their first intake of students.
My role as PM meant I had to work quickly with our Creative Director
to determine the vision of the ELAM team and try to realise this on a minimal budget and within the very limited time frame. From furniture schedules and purchasing, to supplying inspirational quotes, I was involved in all aspects of the project, right through to installation and snagging.
