Elephant Sanctuary - Chang Mai- Thailand

Founded in July 2014 the Elephant sanctuary Is is a joint initiative between founder Karen hill, forest tribes and local farmers. The charity was set up to preserve environmental areas for the elephant's safety in Thailand. The centre uses progressive and ethically responsible approach to elephant tourism. The visits by the public raise awareness and educate people regarding the mammal's care and habitat.
