Emery Franklin Must Die

Someone is trying to kill Emery Franklin. The first attempt is botched, but it draws Shelby Pangbourn into the investigation. As she gets to know the victim better, she finds herself settling into a close friendship with the woman. When Emery is shot, and Shelby wounded in the attack, she throws herself into the investigation, determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
