A sustainable capsule for a pioneer in bespoke eco-friendly materials and designs. This project was executed with consultancy from Eco-Age who provided all criteria to maintain sustainable from an ecological level. For the "Victorian taffeta embroidery" dress a GOTS certified Italian fabric mill located in Como, Italy weaved the silk faille and taffeta used in this project. The embroidery design was produced at an Indian embroidery vendor located in Mumbai, India. The embroidery base was an organic cotton tulle, up cycled from dead stock. The taffeta used for the texture embroidery was GOTS certified. The combo sash is a silk faille that's also GOTS certified. The hand embroidered taffeta panels were cut and folded by hand and an organic starch was used to shape the texture embroidery design . A repurposed zipper was used as the closure. Lastly, the dress was assembled in house at the ODLR atelier. For the "Jacobean embroidery" top, the combo silk faille was sourced from the same above GOTS Italian fabric mill. For the black trousers, the wool is organic and confirmed as mulesing-free. It was sourced from an Italian fabric mill in Biella, Italy. The entire look was made in house at the ODLR atelier.
