Employability x Waste studio

To re-design the existing university employability scheme (live brief with Waste studio). Approach / Concept: As it stands the existing branding for the employability is confusing, dated and some what uninviting - aim to move away from this with the concept of illustrating that no two journeys to becoming a well rounding person, or to employment are the same. Visually taking reference from the idea of ‘dot to dot’ and getting from A-B. Dynamic Mark Outcome: With the initial idea of movement and paving a journey to employability in mind, the concept of creating multiple dynamic marks to use throughout the entirety seemed like a natural development. The significance of having more than one mark mirrors the notion that no two paths or people are the same. Visual Language in context - Instagram: Arguably Instagram is one of the most used tool employability have, with the majority of students using the app daily; however as it currently stood the existing account was not only dated but also completely uninspiring. Which is why not only have we updated it with vibrant and up to date colour palette, but also a variety of post styles. In addition using the dynamic mark throughout.
