Empower

A fashion magazine dedicated to showcasing culture, representing traditional dress to empower and unite women around the world. The magazine covers have been purposely designed like the style of Vogue by bringing back the lost illustrations which used to be produced on its cover dating back to the early 1920’s. Each femine portrait has been created with every detail of her national dress. The covers act as an educational print, with the cover lines including the appropriate ethic title of part of the garment, accessories and her history. Colours have been chosen appropriately with her costume in mind. I also created a few poster prints alongside to be used as pride of one's heritage
