En Pausa: Coffee Break

"This shoot is displayed as a mad-hatter tea party set/ a surrealist staffroom of a workaholic, located in the garden. It is mainly inspired by Allan Wexler's 'Coffee Seeks Its Own Level', which depicts a gathered group of people sipping coffee around the table with troublesome consequences of coffee spillage - if they do not drink their coffees simultaneously. The mess is replicated on the tablecloth with smothered coffee stains, and my model following the act of drinking coffee. This shoot represents a fantasy coffee break as a metaphor of the global break from our workaholic lives we are currently experiencing during the COVID-19 crisis."
