Engineering Innovation In Augmented City

Engineering, one of Europe’s largest and longest standing Technology companies, understood early on that supporting cities, as they evolve and grow in size and complexity required a dedicated approach: Municipia, a company dedicated to smart cities. Digital transformation is defining our era and digitalization has created a proliferation of data but something went wrong along the way. We have built an ecosystem Platform, called Digital Enabler, that allows data from different sources to be discovered (in the case of open data), collected, harmonized, synchronized and integrated. We believe that technology is not the (only) answer, but smart, sustainable services, built around core processes, that leverage traditional technology as well as the new digital enabling technologies are.
