Environmental illustration requires the illustrator to consider scale in more depth and understand that what works at small size takes on a completely different feel when increased to large proportions. Many designers have used illustration within public spaces to provide a source of inspiration and to transform the atmosphere and tone of the environment. Design a series of large-scale illustrations for one of The Science Museum London. Canvas illustrations are showcase on large interior walls in the foyer of the museum and one of the stairwells.
