To be portrayed, with or being part pf the landscape. It seems that prepositions can be interchangeable, however the use of each of them denotes a construction of the landscape, the natural, the human and the world. Thus portraying oneself in the landscape implies a separation of the construction of the natural and the human, increasing a historical duality between the categories of nature and culture and as a consequence asserting the power relations over the territory. In this project I try to play with the scale of what makes up the landscape from the sand, people, trees and mountains. In this way, this project seeks to be a proposal that reconfigures the idea of landscape, nature and territory.
