The Thomson Reuters Foundation is the charity arm of the bigger global Thomson Reuters news and information machine. The editorial team at the foundation deliver 'under-reported news' that keeps certain subjects on the news agenda - women's rights, human trafficking and climate are three examples. The foundation hired me as a journalist in September 2017 to deliver stories about social enterprises - businesses that are good for people or planet. The stories went out on the Reuters news agency wires and the content was picked up internationally by many different organisations, everyone from the World Economic Forum to the Taipei Times. As well as reporting from several different countries, I also acted as an ambassador for the foundation, appearing on panels at conference discussions globally.
