European Film Forum SCANORAMA 2017

European Film Forum SCANORAMA is the largest and most prominent autumn international cultural film event in Lithuania that represents all of Europe and has recently began to open up to other continents as well. SCANORAMA brings Lithuania the best, most valued films that have earned recognition around Europe. The exclusivity of SCANORAMA is noted and acknowledged by Lithuanian film industry professionals as well as critics and international experts. In 2017, the European Festivals Association awarded SCANORAMA the EFFE label of remarkable festivals.
The 15th European Film Forum Scanorama was held from November 9 to 26 in Lithuania. Visiting the four largest cities - Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai - the forum has presented more than 120 films of European and international filmmakers. In 2017 number of Scanorama visitors reached 40 000. The audience grew approx. 8 %. The biggest number of visitors was in Vilnius, reaching more than 25 400 people.
