JMArt Space Presents: Open Space Part II:
Lucidy: Love and Lust
This event was an extention and continuation of a series of themed open spaces that we first started in December 2017.
Responsibilities:
- Conception of idea
- Open call and curation
- Artist liason
- Art bio creation
- Venue search and hire negotiations

Results:
From our first event, we boosted interaction, post reach, page 'likes' with the Facebook page, all organically. The night saw around 100+ people turn up, more than double the amount from the first event which we treated as a 'tester'. Within the space of a month our Facebook page's interaction increased by just over 300%.
We charged £3 on the door and turned over a small profit on the night despite management difficulties, and afterwards, our Instagram page and hashtag usage went up, as well for the artists involved.
Lessons learnt:
Music equiptment education was needed to be prepared for all manner of eventualities
