Event Strategy and Production

Aiming to increase the visibility of women in tech, Women in Mobile invites women to take the stage, encouraging event organizers to have a more balanced representation on their speaker agenda. With a strong network in Barcelona, WiM organises a yearly event during the Mobile World Congress. As Event Planner, it is my job to deal with all the necessary details about three months leading up to the big day. From dealing with suppliers to choosing the caterers, liaising with sponsors and helping the speakers prepare their presentations, I am in charge of planning every aspect of WiM. Quality decisions needs to be made regarding the different aspects and areas of the event. Strategic planning and priority setting throughout the entire event production process to ensure that attendees would live a truly unique experience without losing sight of the vision and purpose. It is also my responsibility to build effective teams for the day of the event, key people to ensure that everything would go smoothly.
