Everyday30

Everyday30 is a colloborative project capturing a day within 30 seconds. Using short 1 second shots to compile a 30 second video, they can consist of whatever happens in that day. The project originated while travelling Japan so as to capture the vast sights that we saw while also keeping it to a watchable time. Short and simple, it contrasts between bustling cities to the great outdoors, energetic happenings to calm relaxation.
The entire film was shot on an iPhone5 as was preliminary editing. This was chosen as shooting on mobiles has become normalised due to their cameras becoming good quality while also being reasonably cheap. They are also lightweight and small; they can fit in your pocket with ease. Shooting on mobile was also chosen to reflect on the notion of Everyday30; just to quickly capture what is there in one shot.
Everyday30 is currently in its final edit stage and will be available soon.
