EVEsdropping

  • Nandi Nobell
Virtual reality artwork created in Unreal Engine for the HTC Vive, exhibited at Färgfabriken, Stockholm, November 2017.
EVEsdropping embodies the infamous FaceBook A.I. dialog of 2017 into a space where the participant is an invisible observer eavesdropping on the non-human entities.
This is the time when you should ask yourself if you would rather be controlled by automated systems designed to favor a small ruling class of human beings or if a grand system of Artificial Super Intelligence is someone to prefer being ruled by. Whether this entity is conscious or just perfectly skilled in every perceivable way we can never know for certain. What does logic mean in all this, to you?
Evidently VR is best in VR.
