Exploring Relationships through Increments of Emotions

This project explores the timeline* of relationships through increments of emotions. Stemming from the topic of power dynamics, I was interested in the role that emotions play in relationships. Particularly, looking at how the feelings people experience can influence decisions and potentially become overpowering to a point that one loses clarity to justify or validate the irrational actions of others. In asking people to map out a past or current relationship (whether it be platonic or romantic), this project intends to invoke people to reflect and evaluate their relationships from an emotional standpoint. By doing so, this presents a different perspective to not only identify but recognize the reality of their emotions and gain a conscious understanding of it as emotions are indicators of our overall being and behaviour. * Timelines are made individually & anonymously.
