Extract is a small design studio based in Stamford, Lincolnshire, where they are working together to create beautifully bespoke prints that promote and celebrate well known literature through dynamic uses of typography.
I was asked to create a flexible brand identity that could be used online and within their packaging and distribution network. It needed to be flexible enough to encompass their services and portray a sophisticated persona. The identity itself took inspiration from vintage style emblems associated with old print presses and publishing houses. It was then developed into a more contemporary style including modern fonts and vivid colours.
In addition to the logo, colour pallet, tone-of-voice and visual language, a fully responsive website was designed and built in order to allow a seamless user experience.
