Factor 50

  • Lucy Hart

A gallery space designed for a university brief to showcase the work of the photographer, Martin Parr.

The name Factor 50 is derived from how British tourists tend to need a lot of sunscreen when travelling abroad, referencing the exhibition's content as well as the candid, tongue-in-cheek style of Parr's photography.
The exhibition focuses on Parr's world travels with stamp stations positioned around the different sections of the gallery for visitors to use in a passport-style ephemera booklet.
