I followed the Brazilian band Far From Alaska during 3 days in Liverpool where they played at the Sound City festival and a few other gigs around the city. We shot some pictures and a promo/mini-doc video. I really like this kind of job, where we have to embrace the unpredictable and the imperfection, but at the same time you have all the freedom to create. There's no script, not much control on what's going to happen next. Your brain have to be working all the time, you have to follow your instincts, and create, or find the story line on the fly. Having worked as an editorial photographer for many years have helped me having this kind of fast thinking and reacting to tell a story, even with all the limitations (be it time, money, etc.) you may have. It's a great creativity challenge!
