Far is Near (2018) is an interactive multi-media installation. The piece incorporates the spectator as an active force in controlling and creating the visual and auditory components and experience; this emphasizes our human ability to influence the world around us. With its minimalistic aesthetic and sonic development, Far is Near can act as a hypnotic and eerie experience. As all components of the piece are directly controlled by the participant‘s movement from and towards the screen, there is no beginning nor an end, representing infinity. Far is Near was presented at the University of Sussex Music Spring Show hosted at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (ACCA) in May 2018.
