Why has fashion at Central Saint Martins emerged as such a powerful influence in the modern era? A new podcast series seeks to lift the veil and explain one of the most remarkable international success stories in design education. The six-episode series is to be released in weekly instalments from November on all major podcast platforms. FASHION AT CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS, which has been produced by post-graduate students on Central Saint Martins' Fashion Communication MA, includes interviews with a varied range of acclaimed fashion creatives whose talents were nurtured by the Fashion Programme of CSM, which is part of University of the Arts, London. Among the names interviewed over the six podcast episodes are alumni such as milliner Stephen Jones, designer Mary Katrantzou, photographer Campbell Addy, Chinese editor Yoanna Liu, CSM MA Fashion course leader Fabio Piras, BBC TV star Esme Young and designers Matty Bovan, Daniel W. Fletcher, Olubiyi Thomas and Dimitra Petsa. These designers, educators, writers and photographers share their memories and insights, reflecting on how Central Saint Martins has provided them with the skills - and the courage - to interrogate, challenge and re-shape the world of fashion as we know it today. Episodes Include: Our global community. Finding inspiration. Pioneering change. The power of communication. The joy of creativity. What's next for fashion?
