Femi

​Femi is an ongoing investigation, that stemmed from my research on the feminist arts movement during the 1960s/1970s. I was really inspired by how women were starting to kick back against the over sexualisation of the female form by the media and basically the whole world, by using their own bodies as their medium of choice. I found it to be quite ironic yet so empowering at the same time. It has been exhibited in a group exhibition at Village Books titled 'Sweet Dreams .... Are Made of This' February 2020.
