FGRLS x Free Periods Period Party

We created an event to raise money for Free Periods and increase awareness of period poverty. We hired out a space in Hackney and invited panellists to speak including the Director of Free Periods, Rukiat (a sex blogger), Karen Hobbs (a comedian and organiser from the Eve Appeal), Natalie Byrne (an illustrator and author of Period), Lynn Enright (author of Vagina: A Re-Education). Myself and my colleague Chloe hosted the night, which included a raffle and saw FGRLS readers come together to raise money.
