Fifth Word Theatre: See Me 2024

@fifthword_theatre ‘s See Me is a creative participation project which ran over February half term this year, alongside the development of our play, Liberation Squares by Sonali Bhattacharyya, teaching Muslim girls aged between 12 - 15 all things film, photography, sound, podcasts, and theatre. Really taking our time to ensure they get a taste of what it truly is like being on set � https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4fcjk6NyTl/ The girls than used the skills they learned from these workshops to apply to a real life creative project, interviewing and shooting an amazing bunch of inspirational Muslim Women who live in #nottingham for and upcoming podcast and exhibition!! The women �: Uroosa, Mrs Maqbool, @empowered_women_uk, @heya_nottingham, @malayagehair, @nergis_ahmed_ , @tellingtons, @lovexclusive See Me consisted of amazing workshops of podcasting with @afshandl; filming and sound with @for.iv; oral history with @normagregory777; drama therapist / wellbeing with @nikkidisney and best for last @coachzahra_ a force to reckoned with � and much more. As well photography/ set design workshop that I had the opportunity to host.
