A project I completed in New York towards the middle of 2014. I spent over 4 years in the States and a fair amount of time developing my drawing in between my college work. New York City is a place filled with unique and wonderful characters from all walks of life and I wanted to try my best to respectfully capture some of the weird and wonderful people I was lucky enough to meet in my time over there. Obviously inspired by abstraction more than photo-realism, the style seeks to evoke the inner personality of these individuals as well as their exterior appearances.
