Moonlight Sonata

Following a young air raid warden in the midst of the war, the setting sun on 14th November1940 turned Coventry into the most dangerous place to be in Britain, changing lives forever.
Focusing around the recurring central image of a German bomb, it allows the setting and theme to be established quickly whilst integrating the credits in the self-contained image.

Zebra

A newspaper editor’s moral integrity is challenged when photographs of his intimate life are used to blackmail him for political gain, leading to a grim story.
Distressed newspaper strips form the basis of imposing steps - or zebra stripes - from a high and invasive angle. A marked figure has opposing shadows cast by the incriminating red file.
