Floral Waste

  • Rosemary King

This short project was inspired by the TED’s TEN strategy ‘Design to reduce the need to consume.’ After researching into the impact of the floral industry, I felt compelled to gather floral waste from florists around London and elongate their life cycle. I merged dried bouquets with plaster casts of recycled containers to create the concept of an infinite bouquet – drawing upon the finite nature of consumerism within the floral industry.
