As a live brief, the creators of Spiel Magazine were looking to set up a 5-a-side football tournament for design agencies. They asked the students if we could design a set of posters that could be sent out as invitations to the possible teams.
I collaborated with fellow student Dan Goodwin to create these dynamic posters that fold up into an origami football. Whilst not a perfect ball, the final form is a rounded cube that clients fold, suitable for keepy-ups and other fun studio games. The object is fun to play with, as well as being a formal poster and invite. We wanted to get people involved, so the aim was to create something you could essentially kick up in the air and throw to your friends.
