Fortune Favours the Fantabulous

Year: 2023 Dir. Emmanuel Li Short Magical Realism Drama - Fortune Favours the Fantabulous (or 狡兔三窟) is a short film that follows the Fantabulous Fei Liu - a fortune teller, mystic and runaway who lives and performs out of a tent in the middle of the marshes. Over three days they are visited by figures and phantoms from the present and past, each of whom threaten to unravel this colourful, wonderful world that Fei has created, throwing their future and sanity into turmoil.
