Franklin is an eye-wear company with a difference.
We make sustainable optical frames from plastic. We source our acetate from a sustainable source and reuse it again and again. We are a zero waste company. Our process is simple, purchase new frames, recycle your old ones, if they somehow can’t be re-purposed into new frames, we melt them down and start again. We do this to help make the world we live in that little bit better.
Personal project undertaken during my 4th and final year at university.
I designed and developed an eye-wear brand based on the principles of circular design and sustainability. I looked to target environmentally conscious individuals, who aren’t hardcore eco-warriors, but still want to do some good.
