Freelance food features for national magazines

Since 2013, I’ve written features, reviews and interviews for Mollie Makes (the UK’s number one contemporary craft magazine and winner of the 2013 Media Marketing Award, British Media Awards), its weekly digital publication (Gathered) and newsletter, and one-off bookazines. From 2014-18, I was the Digital Editor for The Simple Things magazine (a new national consumer magazine print and digital brand focusing on ‘taking time to live well’), where I led on content strategy, wrote daily blog posts, and managed social channels. I wrote a fortnightly newsletter on interiors, style, food, and travel, and oversaw a complete site redesign and migration of platforms. Since then, I've written three six-page food features for The Simple Things, including developing five to seven original recipes for each.
