Friendly Faces

A six-story mural I created in Wood Green next to the shopping district. Walking through the shopping district people are experiencing their own adventure in Wood Green. The mural stands at the beginning of this journey. Using a silent comic format, I aimed to depict a meeting of friends who greet pedestrians walking by the district. The area brings people from all walks of life and backgrounds as shown in the piece. The aim was to instill a sense of welcoming, like an old friend greeting you. Through warm fantastical colors the mural is meant to brighten the area with the hopes of bringing a smile to people's faces or at the very least making an errand trip a little more exciting.
