This project was a mock brief for Fruitiger, a project at CATC Design School. Fruitiger is a new brand that aimed to break into the overly crowded squeezed juice market. With a logo already designed, the brief required us to design a label for a 330ml juice bottle, inspired by swiss modernism. The client requested a die cut and embellishment to be used within the label design. As the swiss moderism style is full of simple, geometric shapes, I decided to design a circle with segments in it to represent an orange. This simple shape could easily be adapted to different juice flavours by simply changing the colour (e.g. green for apple ). I chose a clear label so the consumer can fully see the colour of the juice, making it the background for the label. The die cut is rounded edges on the rectangle, clear label.
