How do you reclaim a national institution? Create a new brand and visual language that highlights the broad range of events and activities on offer. The existing brand undersold the significance of Fulham Palace and it was clear the location had outgrown the brand and was no longer fit for purpose. It was critical to reintroduce Fulham Palace as a destination of cultural and historical imprtance – robust enough to compete with the likes of Alexandra Palace, Somerset House, Hampton Court et al. The new brand needed to celebrate both the breadth of events and also the diversity of audiences – it was time to reclaim Fulham Palace as a family destination.
