I was recently invited by Furnival Sculling Club to spend a morning out on the River Thames capturing some of their training runs ahead of taking part in the past regatta of the summer. I have a long history with the Thames, walking the river paths was my go to for many years, on occasion when I was battling dark periods in my life when my mental health was in its lowest periods. There were also times that jumping into the river itself was the only answer to those emotions. Thankfully today it isn't like that, and being out on the river for the morning doing what I love was a really peaceful moment Here are a selection of images from that morning
