Future Garden

A photo study of natural rocks and crystals taken at the Natural History Museum in Washington D.C. These objects are natural and imperfect, but admired, so much so that they have been placed in this museum to be seen for generations to come. They hold an aura, which cannot be obtained by a man-made object. This is my attempt to explore this ongoing fascination with these objects, by playing with the cemetery of the original image and combining this with manipulation techniques using mixed media.
