A brief set by BBC Studio’s Creative Director, David Wilson-Nunn, required to present three new, original and innovative book concepts and design outcomes for new book titles Gardeners’ World could market, remembering that the 'lifeblood' of the BBC is creativity and considering their motives - to entertain, educate and inform. The target audiences are, 5-8-year-olds, 19-24-year-olds, and 35+ year olds. My designs were awarded a BBC Commendation. Publishing, Book Cover Design, Concept Generation

Garden Creations


Target audience: 5-8 year olds

This concept aims to entertain and educate 5-8-year-olds about nature and wildlife. The book includes guides to crafting activities using nature that is available in the average garden, therefore encouraging children to get hands-on and experience nature first-hand, alongside educating them about the wildlife that surrounds them every day.

Mind, Body & Nature


Target audience: 19-24 year olds

Aimed at a demographic where life decisions can start to become overwhelming, this outcome educates and informs by channeling the benefits of interacting with nature into an accessible form. The book focuses on making nature visible in the day-to-day by becoming a guide for the reader’s own personal mindfulness journey.

Rewilding Mother Nature


Target audience: 35+ year olds

This outcome increases the reader’s knowledge of the importance of increasing biodiversity in urban areas, as well as providing attainable solutions for everybody to get involved with.
