Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo

One of the world's outstanding events for IT leaders, tackling the future of the industry and welcoming close to 10,000 attendees.

In 2018 and 2019, I leaded the event's food & beverage services, a challenging project with a complex schedule, such as 3 simultaneous +1.000 people lunch services each day.

Other services include cocktails (up to 4.000 attendees), parties, coffee breaks, vip lounge crafted concepts and crew catering.

Almost 400 collaborators composed our global catering team for this event.

We had to be creative and reagent in order to operate constant set-up changes to make spaces multifunctional throughout the programme, or to face unexpected scenarios that could (and did!) occur.
Menu and concept design is a key part of process, starting 10 months before the event goes live.

Menu tastings take place over 2 sessions and 4 days in total, showcasing close to 300 dishes for the final menu selection.
