Genuinely affordable housing

A collaborative project surrounding the topic of gentrification. Using Riso-graph printing and letterpress to create the final outcome.

As a collective, we looked into the false promises made from housing developers around London. We wanted to highlight how they promise to provide “genuinely affordable housing”, yet the rent is still high and people who have been living in certain areas cannot afford it anymore. This in which leaves them no choice to leave their homes of twenty-odd years. We wanted to compare and highlight the ‘promises’ made from housing developers to the thoughts and feelings of those who live in London; comparing promises to reality.
