Gerhard Richter does beige

  • Brogan Scott
In Gerhard Richter's Artist book 4900 colours, he uses an array of colours using mathematical sequencing to determine the final outcome of his works. Beige unfortunately is not apparent in these 4900 colours, even though the colour 'cosmic latte' is a shade of beige and is considered the most used colour in the universe. This publication re-corrects Richter's mistake of his misuse of colours, turning all his artworks into different shades of beige.
